A friend in the history department of Indiana-Purdue University at Ft.
Wayne is going to be teaching an honors undergraduate course on Jesus,
Paul, and the development of early Christianity and wants suggestions on
a basic text book. So I'm passing the question on to the List. What
would you use if you were trying to teach a course on Christianity up
through the end of the first century? Besides the various NT intros,
what do you feel is a good one volume treatment of the rise of EC that
undergraduates who are NOT grounded in the literature might find
      illuminating?

      OFF LIST replies, please.

      Yours,

      Jeffrey
