Gerd Ludemann writes: "In Romans 9–11 he [Paul] in part takes back everything that he has written previously. Suddenly, an ethnocentric attitude that Paul thought he had overcome draws him under its spell, for now he rather explicitly suggests that after the fullness of the Gentiles has entered in, all Israel will be saved without any ifs, ands, or buts—in other words, even without believing in Christ."

Nonsense. Paul's "All Israel will be saved" (11:26) is conditional: "if they do not persist in their unbelief" (11:23). The rest of Ludemann’s article is full of similar jabberwocky.

An internationally known scholar and best-selling author will present a
seminar titled, “Christ or Caricature?” on July 30 at the Emmanuel
      Lutheran Church.

Dr. Paul Maier, a professor of Ancient History at Western Michigan
University, will discuss the distorted images of Christ as presented by
      the media.

In addition, Meier will discuss how archaeology and history are,
“Providing ever sharper images of Jesus, including fresh information on
his nativity, ministry, trial and crucifixion,” at a time when attacks
on Christianity are at their worst.

It makes me wish I was there.
