According to reports - at least one - Dublin Critical Mass has either
gone under ground, so to speak, or is not meeting for the time being. It
may be that the government officials have shut them down, or somehow
reports of their rides are not being reported on, at the moment.(see

Subj:[CSM!]Dublin Bicycle Commuting... one of the top bicycle friendly
communities? (video link)
Bicycle commuting in Dublin Ireland.
The cyclist in the video(see link above) demonstrates how folks in
Dublin bicycle in bus lanes. They also show how the public bus operators
whom want to pass a cyclist riding in the bus lane, merely changes lanes
to over take the cyclist, the bus proceeds a safe distance in front of
the cyclist, then returns the to the bus lane in front of the cyclist.
This is a much more friendly, peaceful, stress reducing method for
everyone, especially the cyclists.
Apparently, "BUS LANA", is "Bus Lane" in the Gaelic language, the
official language of Ireland.
DAMN! They have a lot of bicycle lanes! I think Dublin probably has more
bicycle lanes than any of the biggest contenders in the USA, like
Portland or San Francisco.. and perhaps even some of the other biggies
around the globe, such as Amsterdam in Nederland, AKA Holland)
Dublin's transportation systems seem to be something to model for us
folks in Santa Monica and adjacent Westside communities.
As the video depicts, there certainly seem to be a lot of people that
ride bicycle in Dublin, the capital of the Emerald Isle, Ireland (Green
Island)(see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland ).
