2011 CR 914 Midwinter Regatta in South Florida
- It's this month- The 2011 CR 914 Midwinter Regatta is less than three weeks away.
Entries - So far we have received 8 completed registrations (and those registrants have been assigned their first choice of radio channels). Another 5 sailors have declared that they definitely or probably will register, and there are two more possible entrants. This brings the likely total to 12 or 15 boats, enough for one very good sized fleet, but not enough to justify separate fleets so far. You can find entrants' names and home towns listed on the Midwinter's webpage, specifically at http://www.sbmsc.com/documents/Prospective_competitors_list.pdf
How to register - You will find everything you could possibly want to know about the regatta on the http://sbmsc.com/2011-Midwinter-Regatta.php , including information about lodging and links to lodging websites, and links to the Notice of Race and an Entry Form. Or you can simply click here http://sbmsc.com/documents/2011_Midwinter_Regatta_Entry_form.pdf (the PDF document Entry form will appear on your computer screen; simply click on the Print button on your browser to print it out).
On the fence? - If you are thinking about entering but have not yet let us know, please reply to this email today, giving us your name, CR 914 sail number, and a probability estimate (definite, probable, possible).
Deadline for entries - The deadline for receipt of entries is Monday, February 14th .
. There are other reasons to mail your entry in as soon as possible:
(1) Early registrants are assured their first choice of radio channels.
(2) You greatly help us make plans for fleets, meals, and awards by registering early.
Questions? - Please email or phone us if, after looking at the regatta webpage, you have any questions or if we can be of any help. But do so soon, for time is beginning to run out.
