Mexican coke -- that brings back memories.  Twenty five years ago my new husband and I did a bike tour through parts of the US and Mexico.  One of the things that I found amusing and bemusing was finding a canteen out in the middle of nowhere in Mexico with crates and crates of warm Coke for the weary and thirsty traveller.  Many a time did I sit in one of these canteens quaffing Coke with chickens pecking around my feet.

Especially if you can find "original" Coke with cane sugar instead of corn
syrup.  Look for Kosher or Mexican Coke for the flavor from your (at least
        my) youth.
