If you are looking for timelines, to get a flow of the history and
where things fit in at a glance, as opposed to relying completely on
narratives in a book, I've never really seen a good definitive
timeline with respect to history touching upon the covenanters, but
      here's another partial timeline:

      http://www.british-civil-wars.co.uk/timelines/index.htm

It is a "secular" timeline inasfar as it touches on the English civil
war, but inasfar as the issues splitting crown & parliament included
religious concerns that became tied into the whole Westminster
Assembly and the taking of the covenants, etc., some of the info ties
in to some degree. It does only go up to the beginnings of the
restoration of Charles II on the English throne, tho.
