Group Description

This Site about the Walvis Bay Yacht Club should be about sailing, but it is about Crime. The Government of Namibia pledges to fight crime and corruption, Insurance Companies join in, Crime Lines for reporting crimes to the Police are established and the Prosecutor General makes public Statements to this effect.
The reality looks different. It appears that the only crimes still punished are theft and murder. The swiftest action of the police is the instant arrest of truck drivers exceeding the load limit by a small margin.
Crimes such as perjury, racism(documented on TV), forgery, extortion, theft of public money, corruption, contraventions of the liquor act, company act and income tax act are ignored. Police staff in some cases can hardly read and understand a simple law and the Prosecutrix brakes the law by smoking in a public or government office. The fine for smoking is N$500,-, but then, who is going to prosecute a Prosecutor? I do not believe someone with disregard for the law should or can be in a position to uphold the law.
Opposing this, it has become a study into the rotten system we have at present. Namport doing favours and disfavours, a N$1.3 Miil. portion of land was supposed to be sold for N$30000 (thirtyK only), audited reports are forged, money stolen.
I kept a diary on te progress, written at different time on different PC's.

Young people of Namibia are done in because there is no other safe bay or infrastructure for sailing at the Namibian coast.
If you are interested in youth development, sailing or believe in the principles of the Law, please post a message to support me.
To see proof, finacial statemtns, laws, minutes of meetings with Ombudsman staff you find in the file section.
