Here's the update for Wednesday 21st March, 1st episode.

Tyrone is looking around for his wallet, but can't find it. Sean comes home, he's been out all night with Marc (with a c) who might have a job for him. Just then Hope comes in with the missing wallet in her hand, and tells Tyrone that Ruby's cuddly had it. Tyrone then assumes that Ruby took it and gets cross with her, despite her saying that she didn't take it.

Over at the Platt's, Sarah is busy planning Harry's first birthday party. While Sarah prattles on about another party she took the kids to, at Posh Petra's house, a stony faced David packs school lunches and then orders Max and Lily out of the house, and is quite curt with Shona in the process. Gail remarks that Martin leaving has hit David hard.

As David leaves the house with the kids, he's spotted by Tyrone and Josh across the road at the garage. They call across to ask if he'll spread the word about the fight night, but David gives Josh a steely stare and then just says, “No!” As he walks on, Tyrone wonders what's going on, he thought David and Josh were tight. Josh just says David can be weird sometimes.

Over in Sally's house, she wants the décor updating and she isn't going to be fobbed off by Tim offering white or magnolia paint everywhere, she wants aspirational paper. She's looking through a catalogue and finds a wallpaper she likes, Italian Fresco. Tim looks over her shoulder and is shocked to see that it's 47 pounds a roll!

Back at Gail's, Audrey is planning a shopping trip to town as the present she ordered Harry hasn't arrived.

Michelle arrives at Carla's so the two of them can plan Michelle's wedding. When they start talking about who is going to sit on the top table Michelle finds it difficult, so Carla takes her off to the pub.

Chesney goes to see Fiz because Joseph told him what happened on the stairs with Hope. Fiz looks very uncomfortable and then she gets upset and tells him that Hope has been the one doing all the naughty things, not Ruby. Chesney asks what Tyrone thinks about it all, and is shocked to learn that Fiz hasn't told him yet.

Tim and Sally have returned empty handed from their trip to buy wallpaper, and are now in the pub. They couldn't find any Italian Fresco wallpaper, and Sally gets cross with Tim and stomps off home. Kirk comes in and tells Tim that a mate of his has been putting some of Fresco wallpaper up on a refurb in town, and offers to get him some cheap rolls.

Sean is having his hair done by Maria, and telling her all about his conquest last night. David is in the salon and obviously can't help overhearing, much to his disgust. In the end he stops Sean in mid flow, and tells Maria to get the rest of the story in her own time.

Back at Fiz's house, she and Ches are still talking about Hope, she's scared of Tyrone finding out, she doesn't want Hope to be labelled. Ches tells her that Hope needs help, and she's going to need her mum and her dad. Fiz says she doesn't know if he'll be able to forgive her, and she's promised Hope she won't say anything. “You've got to tell him,” says Chesney.

      Break.

Over in the pub, Michelle tells Carla she feels that she's failed, her own son doesn't want to come to her wedding, he hates her. Carla tells her he doesn't hate her, he's angry with her, and suggests she talks to him.

Shona is in the pub and she tells Eva that David has been odd lately, distant. Eva looks up at Tyrone and Josh and says that maybe he's been spending too much time with his new playmate. Eva then suggests that there's something Shona can do that Josh can't, so maybe she should organise a little workout of her own?

Fiz is trying to have a quiet talk to Hope, she says she wants her to see it's very naughty to try and get Ruby into trouble. Hope reminds Fiz that she promised not to tell Tyrone.

Kirk has arrived at Tim's with 8 rolls of supposedly Italian Fresco wallpaper, and tells him his mate wants a tenner a roll and has thrown in some wallpaper paste too. Tim then asks Kirk if he wants to earn a bit extra, and throws him a roll of the paper.

Gail is in the bistro talking to Rosemary about Richard Hillman. Gail is apprehensive, but Rosemary tells her that Richard is trying to communicate.

Tyrone arrives home with flowers for Fiz, and she's made him his favourite dinner. She tries to start talking to him, but he interrupts her, saying he knows he's let her down. Every time she tries to butt in, he stops her and tells her to let him finish. (This is SO frustrating!) He goes on a bit longer and then she does manage to say that she wants to talk to him about the girls. He then says that maybe they should wait until the girls are in bed, and just then the kids come downstairs. As he hugs them both he then notices that water is dripping through the ceiling, and he immediately assumes it's something that Ruby has done. As he rushes upstairs, Hope sits there grinning.

Shona gets home to find David alone in the house, and that he has put trifle, sausage rolls and sausages on sticks on the table, getting ready for the party. She snuggles up behind him and kisses his neck, but at first it seems he's as cold as stone, but then suddenly he turns and pushes her back against the kitchen worktop and kisses her roughly.

Tyrone comes storming downstairs with some playdough that he found in the plughole of the bathroom sink, and demands to know why Ruby put it there. Ruby protests that it wasn't her, and Fiz tries to butt in, but Tyrone is convinced that it's another naughty thing that Ruby has done, and won't listen to anyone. “Who was it then?” he yells, and Ruby looks at Hope. Tyrone shouts some more and tells her to stop lying. She gets down from the table and tries to run past him, and with that he slaps her on the backside as she passes. She runs off upstairs screaming, and Fiz looks horrified.
