Here's the update for Wednesday 14th March. First episode.
Summer and Amy are setting off to find Billy, instead of going to school. Summer has a list of the homeless shelters, an A-Z of Manchester and thirty five pounds drawn out of her savings account.
Tyrone is full of regrets about what happened with Gemma. He'd like to turn back the clock and like to undo it all. Kevin, who is putting him up, tells him to think about what he wants now.
Fiz asks Sean if he knew what was going on, but Sean swears that he didn't know. She tells him she doesn't know what to do, but adds that if she ends up living there on her own she'll have to ask him to pay proper rent. Just then Chesney arrives and is shocked to hear that Tyrone slept with Gemma. As he hugs her, Fiz says that if she sees Gemma she's going to smash her face in.
Peter is on the phone to Adam, advising him to stay in Birminham for now. Eva comes in, shocked at the news that Billy stole from Eileen. Peter says he might go out and look for him later.
Lily has been playing with Kylie's necklace, and tangled up the chain. She's very worried that David will go mad at her, so Shona says she will take it and get it fixed.
Ken arranges a haircut with Audrey for tomorrow at lunch time.
Tyrone is standing outside the garage when he sees Fiz come out of the house and scurry off down the road. He then turns to where Josh and Kevin are playing a game at throwing things into a bucket. Apparently Luke was very good at it, and so Josh remarks that maybe they could beat his record and knock him down a few pegs in the history books. This remark, however, is not well timed, as Alya and Sophie come up behind them. Alya is also furious to see that Josh is drinking out of Luke's mug. Josh tells her he'll wash it and give it to her. Grudgingly she thanks him. Sophie then says they're going to the boxing club at lunch time and wondered if he would like to go too. He says he'll come with them right now, and Kevin says that's ok.
In the salon, David gets a call from Josh, asking if he'll help him at the gym. Audrey says he can take the rest of the day off. When David has gone, Gail realises that Audrey has arranged a visit from the clairvoyant. She tells her mother she's a fool, Alf is dead, he won't be talking to anyone.
Chesney marches into the kebab shop and demands to know why Gemma slept with Tyrone. Cathy is shocked to hear this, and Gemma mumbles that they were drunk. Chesney says he thought she was his friend, but Fiz is his sister and Gemma just slept with her bloke. “How could you do that?” he wants to know.
Billy is being pushed into a police cell and the door is slammed.
Meanwhile, Summer and Amy are walking round Manchester, and they arrive at one of the shelters. A scruffy man asks if he can help them, and then tells them that he knows Billy and can take them to him for 20 pounds. The silly girls then follow him.
Break
Back at the kebab shop, Chesney is calling Gemma a slapper and says she's just the same as everyone else from that estate. Then he tells her to get her stuff and get out, she's sacked.
The scruffy man has taken the girls to a secluded spot behind a derelict building, and tells them to give him their phones and their money. Amy, trying to be brave, tells him she'll call the police. As he gets more threatening, Peter suddenly appears on the pavement through the alleyway, and sees what's going on. He runs through, and the scruffy man runs off. Just then, Summer's phone rings, it's Billy, and she hands the phone to Peter, who asks where he is.
Rosemary the clairvoyant has arrived at Audrey's salon. She tells Audrey to focus her thoughts on the person she wants to make contact with. She tells Audrey that she knows that she and Alf were very happy together, and remembers the last Christmas they spent together. She knows that Alf died at new year, at Gail's house. Then she says that Alf is looking forward to seeing Audrey again, very soon. Audrey is shocked, is she going to die? Rosemary assures her, not for a long time yet.
Back at the Barlow's, Ken asks the girls what on earth they thought they were doing. Just as they agree not to tell anyone, Tracy arrives home and wants to know why the girls aren't at school. Amy tells her there was a burst pipe. Peter then goes into the hall to make a phone call.
Rosemary is taking her leave of Audrey, and refusing any payment. Audrey says it was lovely for her to be able to talk to Alf, and she reaches out to grasp Rosemary's hands. Rosemary closes her eyes and starts taking deep breaths, and then tells Audrey she's got a message from someone with a very strong presence, for Gail. “More than one husband.....” says Rosemary.
Sophie and Alya are standing in the gym car park chatting about Luke. Josh and David come over, they've managed to get the venue for free for the boxing match. Just then Alya sees a car on the other side of the car park and reckons (even though it's only sideways on so she can't see the number plate, and there must be many cars like it) it was the car that was used by the guys that graffitied the garage, and it's owner could the be the person who killed Luke!
Despite Cathy's protests, Chesney gives Gemma her wages and tells her to crawl off back under the rock she came out from. Just then Fiz comes in, it seems Chesney has text her to come over. Fiz tells Gemma she should smack her for what she did, then she picks up food and starts throwing it at her.
Adam (sporting a nice new, short haircut) arrives at the police station and tells them he's Billy's solicitor and would like some time alone with his client.
