Group Description

back in the 50's fiberglass was just finding it's way into the marine world. it was years before the boat builders found out that they had "OVER" built their boats. Coronado and Columbia was one such builder. the Coronado has a history of very strong boats in the 60's and early 70's. the naysayers out there need to come aboard and see for themselves. I never heard anything about the Coronado sail boat till I bought one and found out for myself. the Coronado-27 was my first boat...well not including the power boats and a sunfish.
she was lost in a storm when she was stolen and wrecked. I miss her everyday. I know I can't replace her, but I did buy a Coronado 30, and I am as happy as a clam with her.
this site is for all makes of boats and sailors..err boats persons. please share your stories and adventures freely good ..bad..ugly..funny..all are welcomed.
