                                                              Paris, July the 16th 2013
    Dear Sir/Madam,
The Sciences Po Law School and the Clifford Chance law firm will soon launch the ninth annual Paris International Arbitration Competition (Concours d’Arbitrage International de Paris) in collaboration with our partners at the Total Group, the publisher Lamy/Wolters Kluwer and the International Chamber of Commerce.
Now a firm fixture on the Parisian legal scene, this competition, which is free of charge, provides law students from around the world who have never practised or taught law professionally with the opportunity to handle a hypothetical case involving international arbitration of economic law.
After two rounds in which students must compose two texts, one for each of the parties to the arbitration, 8 teams will be chosen for the oral rounds, which will take place in May 2014 at Sciences Po ( Paris , St Germain des Prés).
We have been delighted to find that the number of teams participating is increasing each year. For this reason, we would be very grateful if you could inform the students in your charge about the competition.
To assist you to do so, we have attached a brochure, which we hope will interest you. We will contact you shortly to provide you with the essential information on the competition, details of which are still being prepared.
Thank you in advance for your support for this project; we hope that your students will draw an immense intellectual benefit from participating in the Paris International Arbitration Competition.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
    Yours sincerely,
Christophe Jamin                                                                                                     Diego P. Fernández Arroyo
