      In this case, they are an 'old style' diesel.... heavy and slow turning. And,
      nobody seems to know much about the ones they sell as marine propulsion. At
      least, there weren't any very informative answers to my queries on
      rec.boats.cruising.

      They are also rather inexpensive, and available thru a couple of distributors
      here in the US.
