      ROAD CLOSURES FOR THE 2011 NATION’S TRIATHLON, TAKING PLACE SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

       

                  WASHINGTON, DC – The following road closures will take place for Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11 for the 2011 Nation’s Triathlon To Benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  All athletes must be off the course by 2pm for the reopening of the roads.  Roads will be closed and managed by US Park Police and DC Metropolitan Police.

       

      Message boards alerting motorists of road closures will be located at the following intersections:  Reservoir Road and McArthur Blvd; Foxhall Road and McArthur Blvd; 28th and M Street; the Key Bridge at M Street.  Traffic signage is provided by DDOT.
