The following is an act of random, and senseless violence which
occurred in the vicinity of 14th St and Chapin St NW at 10:00pm on
Saturday, May 31, 2008. A group of approximately 8 to 10 young African-
Americans ranging in age for 12-14 years old threw a soda into the open
car window which was being driven by several young women who were
dropping off friends in our Columbia Heights neighborhood. The group
of boys proceeded to chance the car while throwing rocks and a brick
causing damage to the vehicle. 911 was promptly notified. The
incident was also reported to a uniformed member of the US Secret
Service located at 15th St and Euclid St NW.

Did anyone in the vicinity see this attack occur?
