Hailed as "One of the best pop-jazz vocal groups in the world" by the
SF Chronicle and NBC's The Today Show, pop-jazz a cappella sensation,
m-pact, returns from Korea, Singapore, and Indonesia for a special
holiday concert at Dazzle Lounge in Denver on December 14.

Founded in Seattle as a contemporary a cappella group, m-pact won the
Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival in 1996. Named "Best Unsigned
Band" by trade music bible Billboard in 1999, the group then skewed in
a jazz direction, flavoring their arrangements with complex voicings
and swinging rhythms. Relocating to Los Angeles in 2005, they
established themselves quickly and were named " Vocal Group of the
Year" in the LA Music Awards.

Touring fine arts halls and jazz festivals across four continents,
m-pact has opened for or played with pop superstars such as Sheryl
Crow, Boyz II Men, Kenny Loggins, and Bobby McFerrin, as well as with
jazz legends from Ray Charles and Natalie Cole to Kenny G and the
      Woody Herman Orchestra.
