This is how Gospel swings on the Front Range -- and then some . . "Defintely the best group of its kind in the west:" CROSS EXAMINED!What a treat this group was on their appearance at Redfish last season ~ an honest-to-goodness contemporary a cappella Gospel group. "Cross Examined" fits that model perfectly: a 10-voice ensemble from Longmont, formed in the fall of 2000 to bring the very best in Gospel music to you as an expression of faith. We've been eagerly awaiting their return.
The Cross Examined repertoire includes a wide variety of Christian music styles, including traditional and Southern Gospel, hymn tunes, praise and worship. And along with that, they're not afraid to throw in a couple of Bluegrass numbers now and then, too! As the evening progresses, theres a healthy dose of humor to keep a smile on your face! Call 303-440-5858 for reservations.
Some of Colorado's most popular vocal bands invade Boulder regularly on specific Mondays. Many of these groups perform mainly for private parties and are not generally available to the public. Bolder A Cappella is produced by the Colorado Vocal Jazz Society at the popular Redfish Brewhouse, a family spot with excellent sight lines and acoustics, competitive prices and no cover. Here's a unique opportunity to sample what's out there. Join us for the fun!
