Denver's newest and most entertaining A Cappella group is set to
appear at the most honored nightclub in the city. On Saturday,
September 25th, the Sliders will perform two shows (7p.m. and 9p.m.)
at Dazzle located at 930 Lincoln Street in Denver. Although the
Sliders bring a new face to A Cappella in Denver, the experience of
these five talented musicians runs deep in the Denver music scene.
The Sliders were formed when three former members of local A Cappella
mainstay, The Blenders- Mark Bershenyi; Dan Bowen; and Tom Stocker,
decided to revive and improve upon their successful run of the late
1980's-early 1990's. Soon came Rick Krause, a former member of The
Wayfarers, and Cole Stengel, a studio tenor familiar to local
recording artists. Together the five discovered a wonderful
chemistry and sound that is different from any of their prior
experiences. Mastering a range of styles, The Sliders cover songs
that include jazz, doo-wop, and rhythm and blues.

But that is only the beginning of the story. What really sets The
Sliders apart is their warm and entertaining approach to the show.
The Sliders exist to have fun and carry that attitude around with
them. The Sliders bring class and unparalleled showmanship wherever
      they go.

So, come see the Sliders at Dazzle on the 25th, and make a night of
it. In addition to great food and a warm romantic atmosphere, Dazzle
is annually honored as Denver's best jazz venue by such local
publications as the Rocky Mountain News, Westword, and 5280. In
April 2004, Dazzle earned the prestigious distinction of being
named "One of the 100 Great Jazz Clubs in the World", by Downbeat
      Magazine.
