      It's winter-- Brrr!
Time to examine the good things in life that happen inside. That includes the winter series of great contemporary a cappella groups at Boulder's Redfish Brewhouse every other Monday.  These  nights, you'll want to chill out with some cool and refreshing a cappella sounds.

Appearing Monday, January 12 at 7:30 and 9pm.
      Boulder County's TIMBERLINERS!

There's an old saying that if you don't like a particular Barbershop song, just stick around 'cause they're bound to sing it again!  <g>

Seriously, nobody doesn't like Barbershop -- especially when it comes fresh to you with the enthusiasm that these Boulder County regulars bring along. These guys have been putting on entertaining shows since before Tom opened his Tavern. In fact, there's good evidence that a local Barbershop Quartet was on the opening night show at Chautauqua way back when.

The Timberliners are some of the most faithful a cappella enthusiasts in the world. They know what it takes to strike a chord and sustain a line -- to the point where you think the tenor may bust something. Their Chautauqua shows are a legend -- one of Boulder's favorite summer traditions. If you enjoy this stuff, call Jonathon at 303-442-0556 about joining -- or short of that, book a quartet or a whole show if you're a mind to. Monday night, though, just sit back and enjoy.

Be there Monday night -- no cover, no hassle, no bad notes. Just warm hospitality and good sounds.

      You won't regret it!

      CVJS Program Director

And come back on January 26 to hear CU-Boulder's legendary BUFFoons!

Some of Colorado's most popular vocal bands now invade Boulder regularly on specific Mondays. Many of these groups perform mainly for private parties and are not generally available to the public. Bolder A Cappella is produced by the Colorado Vocal Jazz Society at the popular Redfish Brewhouse, With excellent sight lines and acoustics, competitive prices and no cover, Redfish provides a unique opportunity to sample what's out there.          Join us for the fun!
