      Appearing Monday, August 4
      Show at 8:00 pm

It's Summertime in Boulder!  Time to catch the good things in life that happen at Redfish.

Sometimes a "national a cappella treasure" comes through town and offers to perform at Boulder's "Home for A Cappella." Such is the case the first Monday in August when one of the best known guy groups in the country brings their soulful harmony and driving rhythms to Boulder. That's Redfish Brewhouse --  for cool and refreshing a cappella sounds!

Jon, David, Jason, Jeff and Cardell, known collectively as "Measure By Measure," will be on hand that evening for a summer a cappella special.

Hailed by critics as "A high-energy mix of Take 6 and Boyz II Men that'll simply knock your socks off!" (JazzBeat),
measureXmeasure is the one a cappella sensation proving the human voice is indeed the most versatile of all instruments.

Despite what your ears may think, mXm uses no instruments of any kind. Every sound -- whether it be soaring five-part jazz harmonies or their 'wow'-ing vocal percussion and bass -- is produced live by these five singers. Originally formed in 1995 at the University of Kansas, they now travel coast-to-coast and year-round, headlining in concert halls, festivals and college campuses everywhere.

It may be pop, rock, funk, soul, r&b, jazz or classical, but measureXmeasure will inspire you with a broad range of musical landscapes and emotions.

This is an evening you must not miss! Call for reservations: 303 440 5858.

(Bolder A Cappella is produced by the Colorado Vocal Jazz Society in cooperation with Redfish owner, Steve Shenk. With it's excellent sight lines and acoustics, competitive prices and no cover, this is where you get great a cappella all year long.)
