The audition committee met Monday evening and selected this exciting list of 2007 competitors (in alpha order):

Cross Examined , a long established 9-voice gospel ensemble that has toured Colorado and other states under the direction of Tim Staggs of Erie; they will be competing as an octet.

face, the popular Rock/Pop group that has been causing quite a stir in Colorado and beyond since they won the 2005 Rocky Mountain Sweeps as a 6-voice group, will attempt to repeat their magic as a septet.

Placental Armageddon is a new Denver Metro quintet that will no doubt provide an entertaining diversion from the customary close harmony sound.

The Plumbers of Rome , an inspired Tim Jones comedy trio on the order of DaVinci’s Noteboook, will again bring their madcap histrionics to this year’s event, as they did previously in 2005 and 2006.

Raging Harmonies , the latest incarnation of one of Colorado’s leading high school music programs, will appear as a mixed octet this year to rock the house with their talent and enthusiasm.

The UCD 7, an enthusiastic new University of Denver 7-voice coed ensemble directed by student Erin Hackel, will provide the first ever Rocky Mountain entry from a collegiate level group.

Vocality, a recently organized mixed quintet from the Denver area, will reach for the Rocky Mountain crown in their very first Harmony Sweeps appearance.
Don't miss this great a cappella event!
