Group Description

N.I.C.S. --- District 3
Neighborhood Internet Crime Spotters...Orlando, Florida

It is extremely important to notify your local police department in addition to using the N.I.C.S. group when you see suspicious activity. Our law enforcement officers can not be every where all the time.

REPORT ALL SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY CALL 911...CRIMINALS HAVE NO BOUNDARIES

N.I.C.S. information is not sent to any law enforcement agencies, however we do have some law enforcemant officers that have joined NICS. If you have a computer, you can help to spread the word about our new information source.

When an incident occurs in your neighborhood and you feel that this information could be beneficial to other distict 3 neighbors, but getting the word out seems like too much hassle…..just use N.I.C.S.

Once you’re a member and wish to report an incident, sign in and provide the following: Location..Time..Brief description of the incident & a case number if you have one.

Once you hit send, the information is automatically sent to the NICS. When approved it can be view by other members. None of your personal information will never be given out. You must be 18 years old to join N.I.C.S.

N.I.C.S. is not meant to replace the Neighborhood Watch phone chain program or interfere with any police facility or investigation.

"WHEN IN DOUBT...CALL 911...THEY'LL CHECK IT OUT". Crime studies have proven that a well-informed community helps reduce crime.

Be a good neighbor, keep a computer-less friend informed. We encourage everyone to participate. We ask that you live, work, own a business or property in district 3 when you join N.I.C.S. We must have a current email address.

N.I.C.S. includes all communities within District 3. Call 407 8432760
