It is a tough role to play because the actor has to get the rightamount of distant, unappealing superciliousness yet be able to unveil a hiddenattractive personality. There are a lot of members in this group; but very little activity.
I watched the new 2005 Pride & Prejudice DVD last night. It was so bad
and so weak. Mr. Darcy didn't even come close to the character in the
book or Colin Firth's character. Kiera Knightly is a modern day girl
trying to play a character she has no insight into.
I want to watch the BBC P & P version this weekend. I need a Colin
fix!!!!!
