50% of the reaction of people around me when i tell them i'm quite obsessed with colin
firth is..."isn't he too old?" and about 50% would ask me what films he's been in.

i don't know a lot of people here who are as crazy as i am about colin, but a lot people
like his rom-com movies, because the Filipino people are such romantics. and most don't
know that colin makes different sorts of movies as well, like Trauma, Where the Truth Lies,
A month in the country... it's just that the movie houses here usually play movies that are
quite mainstream, and 90% are local films. that's why it's quite frustrating on my part
because i have to buy dvds from ebay, because they don't sell much foreign films here. =(
and i don't buy bootlegs! which asia is so popular for! i respect the entertainment
industry.

regarding my english, aw, gosh, thanks...i often get mistaken as asian-american when i
travel. i am chinese, born and raised in the philippines. but i've also spent a lot time in
USA during vacation time. i watch more (if not mostly) foreign tv channels than local ones,
so i guess i pick up the accent quite quickly. and i read a lot of english books, so i guess
that also helps. coincidentally, last week i was thinking "i feel like a westerner in an
easterner's body..."

how about there in romania? is colin big there?
