      In addition to region & HQ TD2(and L CXR) letters there was a
      widely distributed informal/irregular newsletter in the 1960's/1970's
      dealing with radio,L CXR & L multiplex problems and fixes from the
      field, published by the Washington Division Staff and called "Bits &
      Pieces"...edited by a very affable & knowledgable fellow named "Moose"
      Faris(deceased), who was also known for his Texas Tower duty, and
      getting in trouble at a National AT&T/CWA bargaining session for
      calling a rather stout female CWA VP a very naughty name.

      Wish i still had some copies but perhaps u can get some from your DC
      area contacts.
