The 25 MAR 02 issue of US News & World Report has a cover story about VP
      Dick Cheney.

Towards the end of the article, on page 20, it gets into his post 11 SEP
      movements:

      ***********************
At first, the frequent moves caused Cheney no small amount of aggravation.
But the vice president found a way to make the most of it by secreting
himself at military bases that happened to be near good hunting and fishing
spots -- in Texas (where quail hunting is excellent), South Dakota (a
favorite of pheasant hunters), and Maryland (terrific habitat for duck), and
in Idaho and Wyoming, where he could indulge in his passion for fly-fishing.
His aides say that with the latest technology, he could always participate in
important White House meetings via videoconferences from the military bases.
      **********************

Geez, for the sake of the animals, it's too bad he wan't just buttoned up
      inside Site-R all the time!
