Group Description

Network organization opposing any and all ill-conceived industrial wind turbine projects. Risks of Industrial Wind Turbines is a group of citizens and organizations dedicated to preserve the public safety, property values, economic viability, environmental integrity and quality of life of residents and future generations. The dangers and hazards of industrial wind turbines sited near human beings should be obvious. Yet, public perception driven by corporate media is designed to champion suspect technology as a “public good”. Members of Risks of Industrial Wind Turbines seek to coordinate, share and develop strategies and information on the real consequences of such wind project.

Wind Turbines are not a farm crop - they are INDUSTRIAL machines.

Alternative energy must be grounded in a realistic cost-benefit analysis.
Wall Street industrial wind developer’s primary purpose is to take advantage of extraordinary income sheltering opportunities, tax subsidies and government corporate welfare schemes. Main street community interests, public safety concerns and environmental preservations are being sacrificed to further the alliance between LLC’s and corrupt career politicians.

The media propaganda claim that industrial wind turbines will reduce the use of fossil fuels and lessen dependence on foreign oil is a myth.

Wind developments are not highly efficient and provide insignificant and unreliable electric power. They generate little regional revenue or produce few local jobs. Property values are significantly diminished and the quality of life is virtually destroyed.
