Plus join us at the end of the day to celebrate…
the date--November 14 in Washington DC. After the rains dry up and the
election storm passes, get out your pots and pans to help us give a
wake-up call to the President and new Congress. Let's welcome them back
to DC with a boisterous call for a peace and justice agenda: cut
military spending, no attack on Iran, get out of Afghanistan, end drone
strikes and focus on domestic needs!
week after the election, we will also celebrate CODEPINK's 10 year
anniversary—a decade of creative resistance
to war and injustice.
We'll return to the White House gates, where CODEPINK started, with a
visual display of the bloated Pentagon budget, which we'll cut down to
size. We'll also be joined by representatives from a variety of
grassroots groups telling the politicos how to distribute our tax
dollars. So please join us with your pots and pans, and your energy,
passion and priorities.
