To be held in conjunction with HiPC 2004
      Dec 22, 2004, in Bangalore, India. http://www.hipc.org

Next-generation services require very high availability, fast
deployment, and complex and dynamic resource provisioning. Academia
and industry is actively responding to these complex requirements.
Much research is being done in the area of resource management and
provisioning including formation of several industry working groups to
address these issues. The goal of this workshop is to bring together
researchers from academia and industry to share their latest findings
      and issues.

Topics of interest include, but not limited to:
      - Fast and efficient provisioning algorithms and optimization
      - Innovation in dynamic provisioning, rapid deployment and resource management
      - Benchmarking and performance metrics to compare provisioning and resource management
      - Performance evaluation methodology and simulation of provisioning and resource management
      - Experience with provisioning and resource management policies on production systems
      - Dynamic Resource discovery and scheduling
      - Co-allocation of resources on different machines
      - Workload characterization, classification, and modeling
      - Providing performance guarantees and QoS
      - Load balancing and resource migration

      Papers should be typeset in a single-column format, in 12pt font;
letter sized paper. Papers should not exceed 10 pages. Shorter papers
are welcome. Submission format is PDF.
Accepted papers will be published in the HiPC workshop proceedings.
