      Hey y'all

I'm heading up to Stillwater to chase after the abalone.  Just a day trip - leaving in late morning and back as soon as I get my limit. Flexible as to time.  Wife and possibly baby are coming. If wife can't get a wetsuit then babysitting services are available.

Come one come all!  Leaving from Belmont and like to carpool.

Worry not, B-girl.  The announcement has been forwarded to City Hockey, and there are several players planning to come (about 9 so far).  They've even got a ride-share spreadsheet set up.

What's this I hear?  Is there a little bit of hemming and hawing about whether to attend this tournament??? (Someone forward this to the SF group, please!!)

Look, it's about as easy as it gets.  It's a tournament.  In your own backyard.  For $25.  For 2 days!  Including lunch!  It's sunny!  What's not to like???

No, don't worry that you'll have to wait on the women's team.  We're just another team in the tournament.  So come and have a good weekend playing hockey!

We're on in 5 days!  Get those "yes, of course!!" replies to Jennifer (or to me, if it's easier)-- she's standing by.  Yes, do it now!  Let's go, people!

      Have a nice day :)
PS Don't be scared of Jennifer; she's a happy preggo....

Friends (...and fellow local Underwater Hockey players!),
Consider yourself special, because we (and by we, I mean the USA Women's Elite America's Cup Team, coach Brigit, and myself) would love it if you would be willing to play in a mini-tournament in Los Gatos the weekend of July 14th and 15th. We would like to have 4 potluck teams of roughly 8-10 players...so far we have almost 3 teams filled out, so let me know if you want to play as soon as possible to ensure that you have a spot waiting for you!
      The details:
      - Saturday play time: 9am to 1pm and 3pm to 6:30pm, mandatory lunch break between 1 and 3.
      - Sunday play time: 9am to 3:30pm
      - Donation request of $15 for a one day participant / $25 for both days**
      - We will be putting together 2-3 potluck scrimmage teams
      - Looking for players for one or both days
We are also looking for volunteers to man the deck, you can commit to all day, both days, a couple hours, whatever works!
If you are interested and think you can make one or both days, please email me back directly. smithjenniferlela@...
It will be fun! There will be tears, there will be laughs, but most of all there will be hockey and a lot of it!
I mean come on, you really can't say no to a pregnant lady now can you...and if you can say no, then you can't say no to Brigit. I mean come on, the last thing you want to be in on Brigit's bad side - she's like whoa scary on the bottom!!!
**Includes all day round robin scrimmage play, lunch, and sexy American Elite Women in swimsuits...and maybe, just maybe a glimpse of one very preggo ex America Cup hopeful (now that is what I call a hard sell!)
