Attempted to go out Memorial weekend Boondocking. It rained, got
stucked. Went home after we got it unstuck. Took it as an omen. Good
thing it rained Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, Weds was cloudy -- no rain,
Thurs rained, Firday Clouldy no rain, Sat (today Rained) But had no
problems with the MH. Just mother nature.

Well didn’t have any inspiring stories yet for this year but if any of
you want to pretend your camping in Michigan just get ya a Charlie Brown
Christmas tree and set it up next to a 50 gallon of bucket of water to
trip into off your front step and aim several garden hoses at your front
door and all over your RV disconnect your heater and through ice-cubes
in your bed and put on a pair of shorts and believe its summer outside.
You’ll be just like downtown.. If you want to pretend your in Northern
Michigan just go to Southern Ohio where its even been colder.

I was not happy to hear the CBS morning show talk about weather
forecasters believe it may rain and be cold for the entire month of
June. Maybe its time for campgrounds to put in the RV sippy hole. If
you beat the fish you get to park under the pavilion on the hill next to
        the bond fire LOL!

Does anybody know where there some global warming or greenhouse
effect??? I heard Coleman was working on a nuclear RV pad ya drive on
and your whole area gets warm.
Perhaps its time to seek Volcanic campgrounds

Then again maybe if I go to Iraq I could be prosperous and apply for
welfare and medical insurance and have even money to camp in the
desert. Right next to Geroldo, I could call my self a news consultant
specialist and high aid to the president LOL!.

Hope everyone has a sense of humor

We have heard rumors of something called El Nino. And the green
house effect. However last winter was one of the coldest in 30
years. And for May we got a little over 7 inches of rain for the
month. The yearly average is around 6 1/4 for May. Had to go to
China to retrive the RV after it sanked in the lawn where we usually
park it, Pushing it back throught the hole was a real chore.

as for the 90 we are on the other side of the jet stream.

              Hey Rob -

Right now I'm watching the water run down to window, not rain but from the air conditioner. It is about 90 and very humid - this from the land of the 10 minute tan and the 15 minute sunburn better known as Florida. We have been rushing to get this thing ready for a trip to Michigan to enjoy the nice summer. Guess we can slow down a little but have faith, summer is coming. We will be heading for the Brighton area, not too far from you.

                Hey Lou
why is it everybody wants to move to Florida right now from Michigan
LOL!. I graduated from Brighton and lived there allot of years. Still
have a few friends around there. I liked it there till it got kind of
built up. It was a whopping 34 this morning in Houghton Lake Michigan
and my dad reported a hard frost trying to hit his garden. I was in
Owosso today was probably just below 70 in afternoon.

Weathers something that always interested me somewhat, I see the ozone
etc was brought up. I dont know if everybody heard but last year a wild
thing happened. The hole in the ozone spit like an ameba and then came
together and patched itself. God heals all was my opinion. Anyway this
made me wonder if we may go back to the weather patterns seen in the
late sixties. Where we went in PA. had storms of 3.5 ft of snow in one
                night around 1969.

Guess what one of my old neighbors that had been saying they hadn’t seen
snow like that in 25 yrs got 4.5 ft last year. Sort of makes ya wonder
what we may see this year. All I can say is have them rigs ready and do
some camping when weathers looking good so you get that maximum
                relaxation time.

They say it may warm some this week here but if your coming from Florida
bring a coat and a sweatshirt to enjoy our summer LOL! It may be one
day long. Last year the end of May it snowed, I took a picture of it.
I remember one year it was 88 in March and held and 93 all summer and
about 90 at night. Its usually around 70 here at night where I’m at.
This year there was trouble with open water taking lives of
Snowmobilers. Some lakes opened back up when it was 10 below outside.
It makes you wonder what is really up with the weather. I seen CBS news
talked about the lakes in 3 states same problem. I’d be happy as long
as the rain hose gets turned off for a while. Maybe I should paint my
rig to look like a giant noodle. Make it look like Wanton Soup LOL!
Thats what it felt like around here the last few weekends.

Ya think Oscar Meyers Motorhome started that way? It was so cold it
                felt like a chili dog???
