- Jun 5, 2014These would probably fit the application. They use a transformer to run off house current, but you should be able to leave that part out and wire directly to 12 VDC.

I bought several rolls of leds consisting of 300 , 5050, white leds, 16 ft long and I am terrifically
impressed. I will make some mounting plates about the length of the Thin Lite fluorescent fixtures and to contain as many parallel led strips as possible. This ought to be very acceptable.
