Group Description

Clarion Motor Corp
Clarion Recreational Vehicle
Is it a Class A or B+ or C ??? I could make an argument for each class, yet Clarion placed it under Class C, but I feel it is mostly a Class A.

This small 23' front wheel drive motorhome was built for model years 1991 & 1992 only and is no longer in business. Only 273 were built.

These are constructed on a Ford F-250 4x4 chassis with a Ford 351 HD engine with a Ford C-6 3 speed automatic.

Coachmen created the Clarion as a good looking all fiberglass widened body RV. Most owners report 13.5 to 16 mpg.

I've heard people say this is a Lesharo (or Rialta) on steroids.

It has a very similar layout as the 21' Lesharo (or Rialta), but a bit larger everywhere and a fixed bathroom. All 1991 models came with sleeping for 4 and all 1992 models came with leather seating with sleeping for 2 or 4.

I'll edit this page as I learn more. Please share anything you know.

I have this group set to moderation and approval to prevent spammers from getting control and annoying us. All messages are held in the pending cue for approval with the following requirements.

Please always sign your messages with your online name and general location and if you own one please include your Clarion #___ so we can get a handle on where these are and how many are still on the road.

Please send personal messages and personal type replies directly to the parties involved to keep the group on target and not with excessive messaging.

Always share helpful / technical information and discoveries. Be as complete with your message as what you learn and share may help another owner.

If you wish to sell your Clarion, please prepare a complete ad before posting. Incomplete for sale ads are held or deleted. See the groups message section for inspiration on what a complete for sale ad contains.
