      Mr. Mix,

I have read this book, and it is nowhere near the quality of Ken Noe's work on Perryville.  Neither is it in the same league as Kenneth Haffendorfer's book.  In fact, I live about nine miles from the battlefield, and I don't think any of the bookstores in this area have even carried the book.  For that matter, you couldn't even find it in Lexington.  It had very little to offer, and was very disappointing in my opinion.

I recently ran across a book I wasn’t familiar with. “Battle of Perryville,  1862: Culmination of the Failed Kentucky Campaign” by Robert P. Broadwater.

      Any information on this, gang?
