Yes. Case shot has a timed fuse, and if time right, explodes over the
head of th troops and rains down schrapnal on them. IIRC, schrapnal
was invented in the 1820's by a british Col. named, you guessed it,
CANISTER is not effective at 600 yards; it should not be used
