      Ted,
Count me in for a copy of Corinth and Iuka if you decide to go with it.
      I'm impressed.

      Please call me Ted.

Not that I am aware of. He has written a history of Corinth and
Iuka, and we have been sitting on that for several years now, as we
wanted Champion Hill first. Not sure about the interest in C-I, as
COzzens did a credible job with it (though Tim assures me he has
      many more sources and interpretations).

As for chickasaw Bluffs . . . I am not sure there is enough primary
source material on that fight along to make it interesting . . . but
      then, I have never checked.

      Thanks for asking.

BTW, if anyone wants to read something really new, try David Hinze's
book on the Battle of Carthage. We did it in 1997 or so, and it is
sold out in hardcover, but I think Pelican has it in print now in
paper. They reproduced the cover poorly, so don't be turned off by
that. It is a most intriguing book about a fascinting little battle
and its aftermath--and a very serious study.

      Enjoy your weekend.

      tps
