not too long ago I was totally unaware of the NPS' site,
the civil war soldiers and sailors system:
I got a Newman with the 17th to come up, first name spelled
Tazwell without the "e" after the "z"
The unit has quite a history! The same website gives that:
Fishing Creek, Perryville, Murfreesboro, Chickamauga,
Knoxville, Drewry's Bluff, Petersburg , and ended the war
at Appomattox. No indication Newman didn't see it all!
repeating the URLs:
re-formatting may mess up the last, it should go in the
browser location bar without spaces.
