            Hey there chill out lawyers!

We have to recast your groupings into 4 members each group, so there will be 7 groups in all.

            Here are the topics:

Group 1-Attachment (for civil and criminal cases)

Group 2-Temporary Restraining Order (lower courts and higher courts) Please make cross-reference also to the Revised Internal Rules of the Rules of Court and RA 9262 on TPOs.

Group 3-Preliminary Injunctions (lower and higher courts)  Make a comparison between TPO and PPO under RA 9262, on one hand and TRO under the Rules of Court

            Group 4- Replevin

            Group 5-Receivership

            Group 6-Support Pendente Lite

Group 7-Wrap-up of all the topics and collate all primers to be prepared by each group. Will be the lead group in the presentation of awards in coordination with other groups.

Each group will have to include in their primer (relevant to their topic) the bar exam questions and anwers given in the last 10 years and all the cases relevant to their topics the last 3 years.

These cases as mentioned above must be in a matrix form.

The primer must have the group picture of the members with their names on it for easy identification.

For each group too, you must present the necessary initiary petition/complaint, the orders of the court granting and denying (the latter being optional for TROs), the opposition of the other party, the writs, the bonds, sheriff returns, court decision on the main case making reference to the provisional remedies earlier granted or denied and other documents that I shall be requiring you.

If you need to see me regarding your reports, feel free to arrange for a meeting with me and if we have to meet outside, pizza and soda (videoke-optional) will be on me.

            Email for any queries.

            Chill out guys!

For the 2nd group, please make a legal opinion how we can challenge the RA 9262 allowing courts to issue TPOs for a period of 30 days that may be renewed without limit and yet a TRO is inextendible for a ;period of 20 days. See if there are constitutional grounds that we can use to attack the law on TPO.

                          Hi Sir!

What exactly does the matrix have to contain? Our group isn't exactly sure as to what we've to put in the matrix and as to how we've to go about it eh. And would it be okay po to just give you a partial list of the cases that we have by the Friday deadline? So far, our group (injunction group) has around 70+ cases... and we haven't filtered through all the months of the three years... If ever what we have to put and do with the matrix would be clearer by tomorrow, we can probably finish the matrix for the cases that we already have by the deadline... Thanks so much sir!

Group 7 will not have any cases, but must consolidate everything and come up with a compilation, in soft and hard copies.  At least for me I need both.  If the entire class wants hard copies, not only for souvenir purposes, but for your future use, it is up to you all to talk about the cost to reproduce. This is a first in law school, I think, so lets do it!!!

The matrix attached by Atty. Kyle is the form I want, save for the facts of the cases which I think should be limited to the bare facts relevant to the assigned topic.  For instance, if the manner by which summons was served is not relevant to the issue and decision, then you may omit that.

                                Chill out!

I suggest the power point to have not only visual effects but also sound effects to wake everyone.  Remember that studies show that maximum attention span is 10 minutes.  So beyond that you have to sustain or bring back that attention span of the audience.  Of course audience participation is encouraged if you have to.

What about Best Musical Score, Best Costume (you will never know how creative the members of the class can be)? Everyone is free to put in their suggestions to make this a one-of-a-kind awarding ceremony.
