Dear Rhea, Nicole, Alyssa, and Carol,
Happy New Year to all of you. I hope this is a great new year for
all of you full of health, peace, happiness, prosperity, and
continued success in your endeavors.
Last November and December were hectic transition months for me as I
have started with a new organization in New York that is in its
initial stages. I am a New York Pro Bono Coordinator for KIND, Inc.
(Kids in Need of Defense). This week we are finally settling into

Training/Conference day of March 31, 2009, I have to submit
something in writing about our program for that day by Friday,

the speakers and discussing your experience as a Pro Bono Attorney
on a case something you'd like to discuss as a panelist. Did you
work with children? Hopefully, your experience was a good one. The
aim of KIND is to have Pro Bono Counsel taking unacccompanied minors
cases before the immigration court.
Rhea, Carol, and Nicole, what do you think as to the upcoming
I look forward to your thoughts on the matter, and I am looking to
trying to speak with all of you on the phone as to the March
training as I am being asked to submit a program write-up by Friday.
Thank you again, and looking to a great collaboration this new year.
