      Lenita,

It works in V7 and V8 for me.
Do you get the aerial view window?
If so, click on the Zoom button (the magnifying glass), move the cursor to
the Aerial View window and drag a zoom window around the area of the drawing
      you want to zoom to.
The main drawing window will zoom to that zoom window.
None of the other zoom buttons work in the Aerial View window, just the
      magnifying glass.

        Glenn,
I don't fully understand - what do you mean by 'aerial view' window? Are
you talking about the camera 'birdseye' view? If so, all the zoom buttons
work for me. What doesn't work is using the ctrl button and scrolling
within the window (using the scroll button on my mouse) - in some
applications it adjusts the zoom, but not in Chief.
        regards,
        Lenita
