Returning Chechen Refugee Abducted in Chechnya

Local sources have reported that a male Chechen was abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on August 28, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry and armed bandits from the pro-Moscow regime in Russian occupied Chechen territory organized a joint punishment operation in the Urus-Martan district. As a result, a male Chechen, born in 1972, was abducted from a house in the village of Katyr-Yurt. The hostage is accused of being a former resistance fighter against the Russian invaders in the beginning of the second Russian-Chechen war.
The hostage left the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria in 2000, but not long ago, he returned to his homeland believing the active Russian propaganda, however, after some period of calm, he was abducted.
The hostage’s fate and whereabouts are unknown at the moment.
