Two Men Abducted in Vedeno District

Local sources have reported that two male civilians were abducted in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
According to the information, on July 24, armed bandits from the pro-Moscow regime which was established in the Russian occupied Chechen territory organized a punishment operation in the district of Vedeno. As a result, a male civilian, born in 1962, was abducted from his house in the village of Selmentauzen. The hostage is accused of providing food ait to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement in March 2009.
On the other hand, the same day, soldiers from the Russian Interior Ministry's Vedeno unit has also organized a punishment operation. The soldiers abducted a Chechen male civilian, born in 1969, from his house in the village of Kharachoy within the Vedeno district. The hostage is accused of providing food aid to members of the Chechen National Liberation Movement in 2010.
The fates and whereabouts of hostages are unknown at the moment.
