Armed people kidnapped a resident of Makhachkala, human rights activists report

Resident of Makhachkala Rashid Ismailov was kidnapped by unidentified armed people on May, 8. This was reported by representatives of Dagestani regional organization (DRO) "Human Rights Protection".
According to the information from DRO "Human Rights Protection", armed people kidnapped Rashid Ismailov at about 11:00, May, 8. The incident took place in the courtyard of his house, Akushinsky street of Makhachkala. Rashid Ismailov's wife appealed to the human rights center.
"The abductors were masked, wearing both camouflage uniforms and civilian attire, all of them armed. According to eyewitnesses, they came in several cars: a black "Priora" KRU-845 05 region, a silvery "Priora" KEO-945 04 region and Russian-made police jeeps", a representative of DRO "Human Rights Protection" quotes Ismailov's relatives.
Members of the organization reported that at the moment of abduction Rashid managed to throw away his documents. "So far as Rashid with his wife and a baby rent this flat almost nobody knows them there. That is why the neighbours brought the documents to his wife only at about 16:00. Before that she knew nothing of her husband's abduction", a representative of DRO "Human Rights Protection" said.
The "Caucasian Knot" user under the nick-name of atribut also reports the circumstances of Rashid Ismailov's abduction.
"On May, 8, masked members of the top brass kidnapped a young married guy Rashid from the courtyard of a many-storied house where he lived in Akushinsky street, near "Ansalta" trading house. The detention was accompanied by shooting and beating him in front of the very eye of tens witnesses". The user posted this comment under the news "A film about the life of young participants of the underground will be presented in Makhachkala on May, 10".
Rashid Ismailov's wife said that he earned his living by manufacturing furniture and was a "strictly practicing Moslem". According to the woman, she knows nothing of Ismailov's location.
Representatives of the office of "Human Rights Protection" informed that lawyers from the "Caucasus" Bar joined with the kidnapped man's search.
The "Caucasian Knot" has yet no comments from representatives of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Dagestan concerning possible involvement of law enforcement personnel in the abduction. Policemen of the standby unit of district Department of Interior Affairs of Makhachkala reported that Rashid Ismailov had not been delivered there.
