      Four Civilians Abducted in Chechnya

      Wednesday, 13 April 2011

Local sources have reported that armed bandits from the puppet regime in
the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria abducted three men and
      one woman in Chechnya.

According to the information, on April 11, the armed Kadyrovites
organized several punishment operations in the Urus Martan and Vedeno
districts of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.

Early in the morning, a group of Kadyrovites abducted a 47-year old male
farmer from his house in the village of Dargo within the Vedeno
district. The hostage was accused of providing food for the Chechen
mujahedeen in the fall of 2004.

During the day, another group of Kadyrovites arrived in the village of
Shalazhi within the Urus Martan district. They conducted a mop-up
operation at some homes and abducted three civilians, one of them a
woman between 19 and 22 years old. They were accused of providing food
for a mobile group of Chechen mujahedeen since last March.

The fate and whereabouts of the hostages are unknown.
