We had a productive day of birding in the Shaver Lake area today-At Camp Edison, we had at least 10 Yellow Warblers, a Wilson's Warbler, 2 Hairy Woodpeckers, several White-headed Woodpeckers, a number of Red-breasted and White-breasted Nuthatches, and 3 Brown Creepers-the Dinky Creek meadows area was even better-highlight was a Pileated Woodpecker going to and from its nest hole in a snag in the middle of the south meadow-also had several empid flycatchers in the meadows-
      Happy Fathers' Day to everyone
