- I suppose one could use a thin guage staple to minimize the holes too. Maybe a wide crown pneumatic gun. Pneumatic guns & compressors are getting real cheap these days.

this must be a cabinet makers thing , as this is what i was taught
when i made "mistakes" on the cabinets i was putting together
..........there might be some residual sanding needed as you raise the
fibre of the surronding wood as well as the wood in the dent but it
does work wonders
