74276RE: [ccd-newastro] NGC 4725 close-up

You got a lot of fine detail near the core and in NGC4712. Nice job.
Here's an image of NGC 4725, the so-called "one-armed bandit" galaxy in Coma. This represents about 8.5 hours of LRGB using a 12.5" CDK scope and a QSI 640ws camera working at f/5.2. NGC 4712, a very colorful background galaxy, is at the right in the frame. Acquisition with MaximDL, processing in CCDStack, PixInsight, and Photoshop. This was a surprisingly tough target to process - comments welcome. Click on the image to get a full-res rendition. I think the close-up is a bit more interesting because of the details in the main galaxy.
Thanks for looking.
