      It’s just a guess, but off-hand I would say the camera was tilted. By chance, is the curvature map rotated 90 degrees? If so, it could simply be the weight of the camera flexing the corrector plate enough to cause this.

      I spent quite some time collimating my hyperstar lens. I could get almost all collimation out, but a pretty strong and weird curvature remains: http://goo.gl/cVH6h7


      Does anybody have any idea where this comes from - and how to fix it?
