LCAOM MEETING ADENDA
Core Curriculum Committee meeting action on Evaluation Points Document
The CCC discussed the Evaluation Points Document (henceforth EPD) and decided that the document was not within the scope of its charge. It was suggested that the LCAOM and Accreditation committees should have jurisdiction. It was noted that the EPD was useful as a tool for libraries, site visitors and institutions in assessing library adequacy. Jim Emdy made it clear the document was advisory for libraries and not meant to address ACAOM standards. One path forward would be to coordinate the EPD with actually ACAOM statements of standards.
