Actor Spotlight: B&B's Scott Clifton (Liam)

The actor was born Scott Clifton Snyder on October 31 in Los
Angeles.
Clifton
dropped out of high school to become an actor. He landed the role of
GH's Dillon at 18 and played the role from 2003-2007. Here are
Dillon and Georgie (Lindze Letherman) in a 2004 scene.
From 2009-10, Clifton was
on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Here he is as Schuyler with Starr (Kristen
Alderson) in 2009.
He
joined B&B in 2010, as Bill’s (Don Diamont) son.
The actor met his future
wife Nicole Lampson while his mom was teaching a developmental
psychology class. “I came to drop off some papers for my mom’s class
and she introduced me to the class and I ended up staying for a
little bit,” he recalls. “I ended up sitting next to this girl named
Nikki, who I thought was really special, and I asked my mom, ‘Who’s
that Nikki girl?’” They tied the knot in 2012. Here's the happy
couple at the Emmy nominee reception in April.
The couple's son Ford Robert
was born on May 6, 2016. Clifton described his son as, "Quiet,
curious, and beautiful like his mother [Nicole].”
When Clifton won the Emmy
for Lead Actor in April, he became the first man to win in each of
the three acting categories. He won for Outstanding Younger Actor in
a Drama Series in 2011 and Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2013.
Clifton is also a
singer/songwriter. His 2014 album Girl Go Home is available

Linsey Godfrey (Caroline, B&B) and Kate Mansi
(ex-Abigail, DAYS) have become fast friends, and Godfrey is
impressed by her new pal. “She’s just fantastic,” Godfrey raves.
“Kate is so organized and I’m so scattered. Every once in a while,
I’ll have a moment of organization and she’s like, ‘Yay! You did
it!’ She’s so strong and so happy and it feels good to be around
her. Even if she’s not having the best of days, I’m still like,
‘You’re such a lovely person to be around at all times.’ ” The duo
meets up once a week to try out a new fitness class. “It’s been so
much fun,” Godfrey enthuses. “We’ve really gotten to explore the
city and the different studios and different types of workouts. We
know that every week we’re going to go do something together and
we’re always going to get a workout in. It’s been a really fun time
just kind of seeing who’s good at what and who’s not good at
something, because sometimes we walk into a workout and I’m like,
‘I’m going to be amazing at this.’ And then we’re halfway through
and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I am so bad at this.’ It’s great.”
Peter Bergman (Jack) makes it a point to welcome new actors
to Y&R. “In general, I like people,” he shrugs. “I also know that
it’s a very difficult thing to walk on to these shows and make themyour own. Everyone but you knows exactly where they’re going, the
people you’re working with have a clearer idea where they’re
standing and why they’re standing at a certain place than you do.
Everybody seems to know more about your character than you do. It’s
just a little effort on my part to make people feel welcomed and
valued.” And a word of encouragement helps, he adds. “I tell someone
new that I’m eager to learn from them, too, and that goes a long
way,” Bergman smiles. “I’m thrilled that I’m in a position to do
that and I would be stupid not to take advantage of the
opportunity.”

Who Is Leslie on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS?
— Here's Everything You Need to Know About Neil's Ex!
When Juliet sued Cane for sexual harassment, it brought Leslie Michaelson
back to the screen to act as her attorney. But it also left some newer
THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS viewers wondering exactly who the lawyer is. Leslie
didn’t used to only show up for the occasional court case — once upon a time she
had real storylines! Let us fill you in on this character's dramatic history!
Actress Angell Conwell joined
Y&R in
December of 2010 on a recurring basis and was bumped up to a contract player in
2012, but then dropped back to recurring in 2014. She made a handful of
appearances in 2015 and 2016, her last back in December.
Leslie first appeared in Genoa City as an attorney working for Vance Abrams’
law firm and represented Adam and Sharon when they were accused of murdering
Skye. After Sharon was convicted, she skipped town, and Leslie was replaced by
Avery as Sharon's lawyer when the blonde was brought back to town.
Next, Leslie was hired by Abby and Victoria (and later Nick) when they
successfully sued their father, Victor Newman, for hundreds of millions of
dollars. She also began a tentative romance with Neil Winters, but it was a slow
boil. Leslie also represented Phyllis twice; first when she fought for custody
of her granddaughter, Lucy, and later when she was on trial for attempted
murder.
Neil hired Leslie as the legal council at Jabot, and they struggled to keep
their relationship strictly professional. Leslie was reunited with her brother,
Tyler, and it became clear the siblings were hiding a secret from their past.
After Congressman Marcus Wheeler called her “Valerie,” it was revealed that
Leslie and Tyler’s names were really Valerie and Davis Rogan and they changed
their identities after testifying against their father, Gus, who had killed
their mother.
But Wheeler was also suspected to have had something to do with Belinda’s
death, and Avery found DNA evidence that convicted the polititian and allowed
Gus to be freed from prison and reconnect with his estranged children. The
reunion was awkward, and Leslie found he had letters from a mystery woman named
Rose. After Gus died of a heart attack, Leslie tried to track down Rose, but
discovered she had died and that she had a daughter, Ann, who was later revealed
to be Hilary.
Neil surprised Leslie with a marriage proposal, but as they worked on their
wedding preparations, he realized she was clearly not as interested in tying the
knot as he was. She insisted she wanted to be with him forever, but didn’t
believe in marriage. Neil gave her an ultimatum, and Leslie called his bluff,
returning the ring.
Later, Leslie revealed to Neil that she had married Dr. Barton Shelby in
Vegas after only knowing him for a few weeks! Neil took the news hard, wondering
if she’d ever truly loved him at all. Leslie also broke off her legal
partnership with Avery to pursue the job of Assistant DA. But later, when Lily
hired her to defend Neil against charges he’d caused the death of Christine’s
unborn child in a car accident, Leslie revealed she’d actually gone to work for
the Legal Aid Board instead.
Leslie was last seen acting as Noah’s
lawyer, defending him against a hit and run charge. Unfortunately, he’d covered
up evidence and fled the country, so he was sentenced to probation and community
service. Juliet doesn’t have a particularly strong case, so Leslie will likely
have her work cut out for her. But when will the beauty be able to appear
somewhere other than a courtroom?

"All I Need Is to Hold Your Hand" — Watch Her Amazing Performance!
On the June 15 episode of
THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, Tessa took to the stage at The Underground to
perform the beautiful ballad “All I Need Is to Hold Your Hand” and fans were
immediately taken with the tune and wanted to know where it could be purchased!
“For those asking,” tweeted Tessa’s portrayer,
Cait Fairbanks,
“the song I performed on
Y&R is a song
a wrote with two of my dopest friends, Mia Minichiello and Matias Mora. It’s not
available on any streaming services or iTunes, etc! But maybe one day!”
But for those of you who still want to listen to the song again and again,
while you can’t buy a download of it, you can at least enjoy this video of her
Y&R performance, even if it does go from acoustic to a full rendition and then
has some actual dialogue over it at the end. Sorry, it’s the best that's
available right now!

The musically-inclined Fairbanks has appeared on stage in the musicals 13 and
Heathers The Musical before joining Y&R as Tessa, so her singing chops on the
soap are the genuine article. She’s also a talented singer and songwriter,
having written and performed her own music for years, including two songs she
uploaded to
her YouTube channel, “Echoes” and “Digging My Own Grave.”
While we can’t wait to hear what Fairbanks will sing next on Y&R, we also
hope that the soap makes her songs available for download eventually because
there are a lot of fans who would love to listen to them. And of course, as soon
as that happens, we'll be sure to let you know!

Holding little Lizzie on his knee, Rick confides to Maya, “Apparently we have
an issue with our adoption papers.” Meanwhile, Nicole vents to Coco about her
recent problems with infertility and the possibility that she gave up what could
be her only child to her sister. “I can’t help but feel that I have made a very
big mistake,” she cries.
So when Maya calls Nicole into the office, the young woman is already on
edge. “Carter dropped off this paperwork to me and Rick,” Maya says casually as
she flips through the pages, “and we have to do a few signatures. Nicole
approaches her sister cautiously, asking what it is. “The adoption papers,” Maya
replies. Nicole’s eyes widen as she says, “I thought that was finalized a long
time ago…” Is she about to make a decision that will rip her sister’s heart out?
Ridge may still be reeling from Quinn’s confession that she loves him, but he’s
clearly trying to distract himself by changing the subject. He doesn’t want to
see Eric get hurt by any of the women in his life, including Sheila! “My dad is
playing with fire,” he warns Quinn. But Sheila’s return may be the least of
Eric’s worries if he learns how Quinn truly feels about Ridge! (Although the

Worries He's Losing Lily!
The tension is building in these
spoilers for
THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, and it’s about to explode!
Already terrified that Lily will divorce him and split up their happy family
over Juliet’s claims of sexual harassment, Cane’s concerns increase when he
returns home to find her in Jordan’s comforting arms. Cane takes his wife into
his arms. “You’re lucky you have such a good friend,” he says, shooting daggers
at her old friend standing just across the room. Could the drama with Cane send
Lily into Jordan’s waiting arms?
Billy is worried about the lawsuit against Brash & Sassy, but Phyllis worries
he’s taking the whole thing a little too personally. “Victoria’s emotional
well-being, that’s not your problem,” she reminds him. Meanwhile, Victoria
confides to Michael, “I just wish I was as confident now as I was going into
this.” Could this lawsuit sink the entire company?
Jack and Ashley are determined to find out exactly who Graham is and what his
relationship is to their mother. Dina won’t give up any information, so Ashley
goes directly to the source, having a drink with the guy. “I think we’ve made
enough wrong assumptions about each other,” she tells Graham. “What do you say
about starting over?” His smile not only seems to indicate he’s wiling to give
Ashley a fresh start, but perhaps he would be interested in something more from
her?

Doug Davidson Declares He Has "No Plans to
Leave" THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!
On May 15,
Doug Davidson celebrated his 39th anniversary playing Paul Williams on
THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, but after decades on the soap, the actor’s
storylines have dwindled to the point where fans became convinced that he
was leaving the soap! After a fan tweeted at the actor asking if it was true
that Paul was leaving Genoa City and what his last air date will be,
Davidson responded with a shocked face emoji.
This led to another fan assuming that meant the rumor was true, so
Davidson quickly responded: “I don’t know where things like this start. I
have no plans to leave. Nor have I heard anything to lead me to believe I’m
leaving. Okay?”
Fans expressed their relief, declaring that if Davidson’s Paul ever left
the soap, they’d stop watching. Back in May, some viewers became so
concerned that Paul’s screen time had disappeared so much that they launched
a petition to get him a hot new storyline!
First, Davidson’s supporters started working to get the hashtag
#MoreDougOnYR trending on Twitter, and then Jewell Kay started a petition to
let Y&R’s
executive producer, Mal Young, and head of CBS Daytime, Angelica McDaniel,
that there are lots of people who want to see more of Paul on the show!
“Jewell, you are so incredibly sweet,” Davidson responded on Twitter when
she shared the petition. “I’m overwhelmed.”
As more and more fans reached out to him on social media, the actor was
touched by the reaction to the petition. “You guys are unbelievable,”
Davidson posted. “Thanks. I’m so blessed to have so much support. So
wonderful to feel all the love from all of you. I’m so touched, grateful.

Having joined the cast of Y&R back in 1978, Davidson is currently the
longest-serving cast member of the soap. The actor also turned game show
host in the ‘90s when he hosted the syndicated THE NEW PRICE IS RIGHT! But
he continued his adventures in Genoa City throughout, making him beloved to
soap fans who are happily signing the petition to let CBS know they want to
see Davidson more on Y&R.

Who Is Deacon on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL?

During the summer storyline, the Spectra and Forrester fashion houses
will compete against each other in a swimwear fashion show, and somecharacters will be attending the annual Spencer Summit. Last summer saw
Quinn and Eric’s secret relationship exposed, but what drama will befall
them this year? Well,
ET Online is reporting that Marini will be
playing a doctor who has to unexpectedly treat one of the
B&B
characters in Monaco. Illness? Injury? You’ll just have to tune in on
Friday, July 28, to find out!
Marini’s appearance is slated for just two episodes, which is one more
than the other times he guest-starred on B&B. In 2005, he played a waiter,
and in 2007, he played a character named Jean Claude. The actor has also
appeared in the Sex and the City movie, as well
as the primetime series BROTHERS & SISTERS, UGLY BETTY, DIRTY SEXY MONEY,
and CRIMINAL MINDS. He’s also well-known to DANCING WITH THE STARS fans for
being the runner-up in season eight and returning for the 15th season as one
of the All-Stars.
Over its 30 years on the air, B&B has had its fair share of guest stars
from Phyllis Diller’s recurring role as Sally’s partner in crime, Gladys, to
Perez Hilton as the minister who presided over Quinn and Eric’s wedding.
Heck, some of them even take home Daytime Emmy Awards for their work, like
Fred Willard as John Forrester and Jim O’Heir as frequent flier Matt! (Who
may just show up again this summer as someone’s seatmate on their way to
Monaco!)
