Linsey Godfrey, who reported back to work today as B&B’s Caroline, admits that she wasn’texpecting to get the call to return to the soap. No sooner than the actress, who had last been seen on screen in October 2016, announced to Digest that she had no future dates scheduled for the soap, she got an email to come back. “It was such a shock and such a pleasant surprise, but I definitely didn’t anticipate it,” Godfrey admits. She says was thrilled to walk back on set. “It was great,” Godfrey enthuses. “B&B is always my home and they’re always my family, so it just felt really good to see people who I haven’t seen in a while because they’re working and life is hectic and I live pretty far away from everybody.” Godfrey received overwhelming support from her co-stars on day one. “I was in John McCook’s [Eric] room and he had left me a note, which was really sweet, saying that he was happy I was back and was getting his room,” she shares. “It was good to see Thorsten [Kaye, Ridge] and Rena [Sofer, Quinn] and all the people that I keep in touch with. I got a text from Heather Tom [Katie] and people who weren’t on set that saw that I was on set, so it was really, really so lovely. Not that I don’t think they don’t love me, but it was so unexpected that everybody was so pleased and excited. It felt so nice. I’m so sensitive lately that I feel I might cry about everything [laughs].” Godfrey reveals that she had some jitters before filming. “It was super-nerve-wracking. It felt like my first time all over again. Suddenly, I was like, ‘Whoa.’ I forget how many people are on a soap stage. It felt so new and it was exciting in that way, too, because it was kind of like starting over again.” Expect to see Caroline back for a few episodes. “At the end of the day, even if it was just for one episode, I would be so happy and so grateful and so exited that I just got to come in and see everybody and work with them again,” she reflects. “It’s one thing to come in and visit, but to get to play with them, that felt really great. I’m very excited that it happened to be more than one.” She is also grateful for the positive fan feedback that she’s gotten. “I just say thank you to the fans who stuck by me and were so supportive. I hope they’re super-excited about me coming back and to let everybody know!”Soap Alum To Make Music Video With Your Help

Morgan Englund (ex-Dylan, GUIDING LIGHT) left the entertainment business behind to become an EMT/fireman, but is now pursuing a career in music full-time. Englund has written, “Homeward Bound” (“A Firefighter’s Song”), an homage to those first responders who put their lives on the line every day, and now he wants to make a music video of his anthem by raising the $10,000 needed for production costs. “I plan to debut the song and video in concert with the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, a charity that benefited me when I was with the department, to raise money and awareness for their amazing cause,” explains Englund. The Truth About Nicole's Amenorrhea Diagnosis on B&B!
Nicole has had quite an eventful past on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, but her recent medical diagnosis of amenorrhea has the character wondering if she has any kind of future at all!
Nicole first arrived on B&B in January of 2015, played by actress Reign Edwards. She knew her sister Maya’s secret, which was that she was born Myron and actually a transgender woman. Nicole happily kept quiet so she and her sister could reconnect and bond, and eventually Maya told Rick the truth and they got married.
Wyatt romanced Nicole, but it was just to get Maya’s secret out of her, so she was furious when he betrayed her trust. Becoming an intern at Forrester Creations, the young woman was attracted to fellow newbie Zende, not realizing he was actually a Forrester himself. Their budding romance hit a snag when Thomas kissed Nicole, but Zende wasn’t bothered and continued pursuing her himself.
Rick and Maya wanted to start a family, and Nicole was happy to pay back her sister by acting as a surrogate to carry their child. Zende was supportive of her decision, but once Nicole was actually pregnant with another man’s child, he became uncomfortable and distant. Ultimately they split up and Zende began dating Nicole’s friend, Sasha, who was later revealed to be Nic’s sister!
After Lizzie’s birth, Zende returned to Nicole, but when she considered carrying another child for Rick and Maya, he had another fling with Sasha, one which Nicole had a harder time getting over. But eventually, Zende’s romantic overtures won her over, and they were married on Valentine’s Day in a lavish ceremony.
However, their dreams of having a family of their own was dashed when Nicole struggled to become pregnant and learned from her doctor that she is suffering from amenorrhea and may be infertile due to uterine scarring. Amenorrhea is an absence of menstrual periods in women, but that can often be treated. But Dr. Caspary warned Nicole that it can take a year before they can determine whether or not someone is infertile. So right now it’s a waiting game.
The idea that she may have given up the one child she may ever be able to conceive has shaken Nicole to her core. Will this situation cause Nicole to try and take her sister’s baby back? Stay tuned for all the drama to come!
Who Plays Mattie Ashby on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS? — Get to Know Lexie Stevenson!
As if Lily and Cane’s lives weren’t complicated enough on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, it's going to get a whole lot worse now that their little twins have been SORAS-ed into teenagers! Mattie Ashby, previously played by young McKenna Roberts, has been recast with teen actress Lexie Stevenson, who made her debut on the soap alongside Noah Alexander Gerry as her brother, Charlie, on May 24.
Stevenson hails from Maine and after graduating Brunswick High School in 2016, moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, modeling, and singing. “One of my uncles, Ricky, who lives in LA, had a few friends that were agents and managers,” she wrote on her blog. “So I flew out to California and met with a few different people. All of them wanted to work with me, which was a dream come true for me.
“I decided to sign with my current manager because I felt I had the strongest connection with them,” she continued. “I obviously made the right choice as they have helped me to get where I am today. Skipping ahead a few months, I am now living with my other uncle and aunt in LA and I have landed a contract role on Y&R. Am I excited? You have no idea!”
Currently, Stevenson admits to missing her boyfriend Brad, who she met at school in Maine when she dozed off on a bus ride home from a swim meet! “I must have fallen over onto Brad’s shoulder, and when I woke up, there was drool,” she recalled. “Classic Lexie move. Although he must have thought it was attractive because I later found out when he got off the bus, eh told one of his friends, ‘I might just have to ask her out.’”

The reason why she is missing her beau is that he’s off traveling. “Brad is majoring in Marine Transportation,” Stevenson revealed. “Along with this major comes some heavy duty training and that training includes going on a three-month cruise. This is not the type of cruise that has a shopping mall, pools, and other luxuries. This is the type of cruise that you work on and you have to stay in one room with 30 other men. But they are getting to go to some really incredible places.”
As her Y&R debut approached, Stevenson also shared a little insider secret eagle-eyed fans might notice. “You will see that I am always wearing two gold rings,” she confided. “The one on my left hand is a simple gold band that my mom gave me a very long time ago but I believe that it holds all of my luck. I never do anything or go anywhere without it. The one on my right hand is a gold band with small diamonds and a purple heart in the middle. Brad gave me this for our two year anniversary this past year.”
Who Plays Charlie Ashby on Y&R? — Meet Noah Alexander Gerry!
Lily and Cane don’t look old enough to have teenaged children on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, but that’s exactly what’s happening now that their twins, Charlie and Mattie, have been recast! Lexie Stevenson is playing the new Mattie, and Noah Alexander Gerry is taking over for young Brandin Stennis as Charlie. The new actors made their debut in the May 24 episode of Y&R.
Gerry was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and as a child appeared in many regional theater productions and local television commercials. After moving to Hollywood, the young actor appeared in the Disney Channel series A.N.T. FARM. He also made an appearance in a Disney Channel “Family Tree” short where he introduces his parents and sisters as they go in search of their roots. Newman Enterprises,Scott tells Victor he overheard his conversation with Dr. Harris.Victor says he's searching for Chloe so his family can have closure.Scott says Chloe will eventually slip up.Scott leaves and bumps into Abby in the hallway.Abby wants to know what Scott and Victor were talking about.Scott tells Abby everything doesn't revolve around her.Victor has flashbacks to having Chloe taken to Dr. Harris's house under false pretenses.Chloe was injected with drugs and placed under 24 hour surveillance.Abby walks into the office and Victor tells her he's sick of his children lying to him when it would be easier on them if they just admitted their wrongdoings.
Phyllis and Billy are in Chancellor Park,Phyllis tell Billy if his time at B&S has come to an end he'll move on to bigger and better things.Phyllis suggests Billy consider working at Fen-mores.Phyllis says Lauren owns the majority share so Jack would just have deal with it.
Later,Scott is sitting on a bench & along comes Abby .. loaded down with shopping bags.
Abby warns Scott not to hassle her about using retail therapy.
They have a mini-snarkfest .. then .. Abby tells Scott to "have a nice day" & leaves.
At Brash & Sassy,Cane is shocked when he finds out Juliet was fired.Cane tells Victoria she never had any intention of firing her ex.Cane says Billy was the problem and Juliet is paying the price for Billy's mistakes.Victoria defends her decision and ends the conversation.
Later,Billy arrives and Victoria tells him she's rejected his resignation.Victoria warns Billy he'll have to prove himself again.Victoria wants to reschedule the San Diego trip but Billy says he needs to focus on work.Later,Cane tells Billy it wasn't fair to let Juliet take the fall for his mistakes.Cane says it won't be long until Billy screws up again.Phyllis arrives and Billy tells her he's glad Victoria didn't accept his resignation.Victoria smiles at Billy and says she's happy they're still a team.
Hilary at GC Buzz telling Lily not to blame her.Lily doesn't understand what Hilary is talking about.Hilary says the flashdrive,Lily says Victoria told Cane to make sure all copies of the ad video were destroyed so Cane stomped on it.Lily asks Hilary to delete all copies of the video and follows her over to her laptop.Hilary offers to prove the video is no longer thereby showing Lily all of her video files.The mouse hovers over Juliet andher Romeo then Hilary is called away.Lily decides she believes Hilary and leaves without so much as glancing at Hilary's laptop.
Cane and Lily are at home talking about Juliet being fired.Lily hopes a better opportunity lies ahead for Juliet.
Juliet is at the GCAC bar.Hilary arrives and apologizes for confronting her about the ONS.
Juliet tells Hilary Victoria fired her and there's not a thing she can do about it.Hilary tells Juliet she has more power than she realizes.
Inside Dr. Harris's House ,Chloe is frantic and wants to know who the people were that just left the house.Dr. Harris tells her not to worry they're gone now.
Outside,Chelsea tells Nick she thinks Dr. Harris is keeping something from them.
Nick and Chelsea return and knock on the door.Dr. Harris sees Nick andChelsea returning and hides Chloe.Chelsea won't leave until she's shown Chloe's visitor records.
Dr. Harris says .. Chloe hasn't had any visitors.As Chelsea and Nick are leaving Chelsea spots Chloe's sketchpad on the table.Outside,Chelsea tells Nick seeing the sketchpad makes her think Dr. Harris knows where Chloe is.
Inside ,Dr. Harris phones Victor,They decide it's time for Dr. Harris to do what he has to do.Chloe overhears Dr. Harris tell Victor he'll "take care of her"

Ron Melendez begins a stint as Dr. Harris on Friday, May 26. Melendez is no stranger to the daytime world. He played Dr. Andy Archer on General Hospital: Night Shift and on General Hospital.
Ryan Ashton has been cast as Zack, he will make his debut in the episode scheduled to air on Thursday, May 18. Zack is described as “a confident entrepreneur who recently arrived in Genoa City."

Interview with Noah Alexander Gerry and Lexie Stevenson (Charlie and Mattie). Noah says Charlie is the way he is because he's reacting to stress at home. Lexie says she didn't test with Christel, it was someone else. (I wonder if that relates to a story line Mattie is going to be pulled into?). Both say they got 10 minutes of rehearsal on Day 1 before shooting started. Poor things!
